When will my order ship?

Our very small team aims to send out your parcel within 3-5 business days of receiving your order. You can choose between 1st or 2nd class postage and it will be tracked. If your order has not arrived within 30 days, please let us know and we offer you either a full refund or a replacement parcel.

With the exception of signed and special editions, if you want a book more quickly you can order through our bookshop.org page.

Where do you ship to?

We currently only ship within the UK (excluding Northern Ireland*) or to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

* this is due to the EU GSPR rules which as a new business we currently are unable to devote the resources to in order to be compliant with! If this changes we will update our website.

International Shipping, Import and Taxes

Any Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Order Cancellations or Changes

We completely understand that sometimes we make mistakes or simply change our minds!

If you want to cancel or change your order, please let us know as soon as you possibly can by emailing us at sales@thedragonsnook.co.uk Please include your order reference number and if applicable any changes you need to make.

If we have already dispatched your order, please "return to sender" unopened and once we have received it back from you we will issue you with a refund

Damages and Missing Items

If any of the items you have ordered are missing or damaged please contact us at sales@thedagonsnook.co.uk within 3 working days of receiving your package and we will, at our sole discretion, either arrange for replacement items to be sent to you (if possible) or refund you for the items damaged or missing.

Where items are damaged, please attach photographs of the damages to the items and packaging so that we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible for you.

I have a general question about my order, who can I talk to?

It is important to us that you are happy with your order and we are here to assist you with any enquiries or concerns you may have. Feel free to reach out to us via email or give us a call. We are a very small business but we will do our absolute best to respond by the end of the next working day!

Pre-Orders

Making a Pre-Order

Sometimes we are able to list a book for sale before the publication date which will be shown with the relevant listing.

We take payment for Pre-Orders immediately when you place your order.

If we have received the book before the publication date it will be shipped to you by your chosen method on the publication date, otherwise it will be shipped to you on the day we receive it.

Orders including Pre-Orders and Other Items

We strongly recommend that if you want to order a Pre-Order book and other Items that you order the Pre-Order separately. This is because we will not dispatch an order until all items in that order are with us and available to send to you.

If you have any concerns or want to change your orders please let us know as soon as possible.

Returns

What is your Return Policy?

We will only accept returns for items that are unopened and unused.

You have 30 days from delivery of your order to return items to us. If you need to make a return, please do email sales@thedragonsnook.co.uk.

Blind Date with A Book

About our Blind Date with a Book

All of our Blind Date with a Book Gifts are books that are in new and unread condition although they may have been written or published in any year.

They will only be books that are stand-alone, the first in a series or books from a series that can be read in any order.

You can either leave the choice of book to us or if you have any specific concerns or preferences, drop us an email once you have made your order letting us know if there are any particular authors, genres or triggers you wish to avoid.

You can also send us a link to your GoodReads, Storygraph or Fable profile and we will then be able to ensure you do not receive a book you have already read.
